New money is required to qualify for the new-money APYs and is defined as funds from another institution that have not been on deposit at Sun East Federal Credit Union within the prior six months. Minimum opening balance $500. After the initial term, the 20-Month Certificate will automatically renew into a 24-Month Certificate and the 8-Month Certificate will automatically renew into a 12-Month Certificate, each earning the APY offered at that time.
